The European Music Council has been approached by Pulse of Europe looking for musicians to contribute to Pulse of Europe’s XXL-Sunday. Pulse of Europe is a grassroots movement that originated in Frankfurt/Germany in 2016 without any attachments to any political parties, stakeholders, or confession, solely funded by donations. It brings together citizens from all walks of live to support democracy and solidarity in Europe. Meetings/demonstrations take place every first Sunday of the month in many European cities.
On 10 June 2018, Pulse of Europe hosts a big European event in Frankfurt/Germany (Pulse of Europe’s XXL Sunday) to promote the European idea of peace, freedom and diversity. The organisers are looking for musical input from many different countries from performers/musicians standing up for tolerance and mutual understanding.
They are not looking for a specific genre – the performers can be children, youth or adults. Key is that they actively promote the idea of diversity, tolerance and mutual understanding.
Please contact Jens Zukunft from Pulse of Europe directly by 9 May 2018 the latest if you would like to propose a performer/performers.
